Keep a useful training log
Write down what you did after each session so we have the details to review together.
Record what you actually did
Write down the exercise, sets, reps and weight used. Note any differences from the planned session.
Add a useful note
Record anything that affected the session, such as difficulty on the last set, technique or equipment availability.
Keep recording simple
Use one method: a notebook, spreadsheet or the tool we agree to use. A brief, consistent log is more useful than a complicated one you stop using.
Explain changes
If you replace an exercise or miss a session, note why. This helps me understand whether your programme needs adjusting.
